Midwinter Murders

As a fundraiser for the Kings Lodge Building Project, Keith
Moore wrote and directed a 50's style murder mystery, using
only base staff and families :-) The making of this film was
so fun, and I have very high expectations for the final work
:-D The film will be show on the 2nd and 3rd of December at
The King's Lodge.

You know you wanna come :-)

Eeeeh, I am so excited because the cast gets to watch it
tonight! I seriously can't wait. It's going to be so much
fun.
Whats new, world?

Life.

Oh my. Life.
Everything has been happening quickly lately, without many breaks.

I feel like I live at school.

We did the performance of We Will Rock You last week - it went pretty well.

I'm tired.

My Birthday Present!

Last night Alex and I finally went to the Within Temptation concert! It was sooo wonderful! I knew every song they played! It was beautiful.

Now I can't stop listening to them :-) before this week I had forgotten how much I love them! I swear, Sharon's voice is genuinely angelic.

Remember, remember...

...the fifth of November, the gunpowder treason and plot. I know of no reason the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.

I love Guy Fawkes day.
Every year on the fifth of November, we go to the bonfire in Higham on the Hill, and then come home and watch V for Vendetta.
V has one of my favourite movie speeches of all time. I practically look forward to it all year :-) That's an overstatement. This is a very brilliant piece of script :-) ;

V: "But on this most auspicious of nights, permit me then, in lieu of the more commonplace sobriquet, to suggest the character of this dramatis persona.
VoilĂ ! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
[carves "V" into poster on wall]
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
  [giggles]
Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V. "

I love films about revolutions. I wonder why that is... I also adore Stephen fry, so that makes this film even better :-)

Happy Guy Fox Day everyone!
